  • What do I need to do prior to my spray tan?

    Make sure you schedule all spa treatments the day before your spray tan, including facials, waxing, and mani/pedis. Exfoliate 24 hours prior to your spray tan using a mitt, avoid using any exfoliating scrubs. Do not apply any oils, makeup, deodorant and perfume the day of your spray. Your skin should be free from any products. Pack or come in an appropriate post-spray tire. Dark/loose fitting long sleeve shirt and pants with flip flops are best. No bras/underwear/tight clothing to avoid any friction.

  • Time to rinse, what do I do?

    Absolutely NO soap. A really slo rinse with Luke-warm water is best. Only use your hands to remove the bronzer, and focus your attention to our legs, behind your arms, in your ears and around your nose etc. The #1 cause for streaks is that the bronzer was not rinsed off properly and can stain the skin for a few days so it’s important that the first rinse thorough. Pat yourself dry with a soft towel afterwards. 12 hours after your tan you can apply non-oil based lotion (CeraVe & Hemps are Sabrina’s favs!)

  • What should I wear during my spray tan?

    During your session its up to you how much you want to undress, I recommend you go with what makes you feel comfortable. During your appointment I do provide disposable pasties, bras, thongs if you wish to use.

  • When’s the best time to tan before an event?

    Because it takes your tan 24 hours to fully develop, I recommend tanning 1-2 days prior to your event.

  • How long will my spray tan last?

    The length of your tan depends on the maintenance afterwards. Most people notice their tan begin to fad after about 7 days. Moisturizing and staying hydrated are two important factors that help maintain color. Refrain from showering in hot water to prolong your tan as well.

  • What is the difference between a Classic Cutie or a Rapid Cutie Tan?

    Classic Cutie has a rinse time of 8-10 hours. This solution is recommended for people who would rather sleep in their solution and rinse when they wake. The Rapid Cutie is usually for people who don’t like sitting in the solution for too long, or for our busy bee’s. The rinse time for this solution is 4-6 hours. Both solutions create flawless results.

  • How do I know what spray tan “color” to choose?

    Sabrina will help you decide on the best solution and/or tone for you the day of your spray tan. Based on the solution used, she will give you a timeline on when to rinse off.

  • What do I do if I have streaks after showering?

    Hop back in the shower and do another rinse. If that doesn’t help, rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab with help remove the streak. Keep in mind that it was also remove the tan in the area you apply it to. I do not recommend respraying if this occurs.

  • My tan isn’t dark enough after I rinsed, what do I do?

    Wait 24 hours for it to fully develop after rinsing. If it’s still not dark enough, we can try another solution at your next appointment.

  • I am too dark, what do I do?

    Try rinsing again, soak in a bath tub, or sit in a sauna/jacuzzi. These methods will remove some of the bronzer to lighten the color.
